Antique Demijohns
Antique glass Demijohn from the Veneto, Piedmont, or Liguria regions of Italy. Nestled within a hand woven rope basket, it was originally used for the transport and storage of wine or olive oil. This is an enormous, beautiful glass “vase,” a beautiful relic of European wine making in Italy from around the last century. Nicks, dings, and scratches are part of the patina of use.
