The Veneto region,  named after the timeless city of Venice,  is Italy’s largest producer of wine. Although Venice is the administrative capital of the region, the majority of its wine is produced around the city of Verona. From the classically styled, age-worthy red Amarone to the immensely popular dry white  Soave, to the refreshing, sparkling Prosecco, the area has a wine for every palate.
