Crego e Monaguillo

Crego e Monaguillo, which means in Gaelician language, Priest and Altar Boy, is owned and operated by Ernesto and Ernesto, uncle and nephew. The uncle is a Catholic priest and the nephew has been working in the family vineyards since he was a kid. Some years ago they started making their own white wines, which have been selected by the Board of wines of Galicia as the best white in the region (on top of all the famous Albariños).

Crego e Monaguillo

Crego e Monaguillo is made with Godello (85%) and Treixadura (15%). It is one of the smallest producers in Spain and the key here is the fantastic soils and the tremendous work in the vineyards. A careful vinification allows us one of the best whites in Spain at a fantastic price. This is a wine different from any white in Spain, fresh, floral, balanced, long, a great white.
