A unique blend of grapes, grown on a 2 acre plot of clay and limestone, planted in the mid-1980s. Very limited production. No malolactic fermentation, no barrel aging. only pure varietal and terroir expression. Made with the hard to find Sauvignon Gris and Sauvignon Blanc, this is dry and aromatic, with nice flow and mineral nuances. Wonderful with appetizers or with seafood dishes, white meat, white sauces, smoked meats.

Bordeaux Superieur Domaine de Montalon [2006]
Domaine de Montalon is the “magic garden” of Chateau La Gatte. Situated on the 45th Parallel, it has belonged in the family since 1639. Once strewn with 13 stone windmills, only 4 remain today as a testament to the centuries of cultivation on this naturally rich and productive hilltop. Made with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows bright fruit and spice flavors when young but develops lovely, complex, deep exotic flavors when aged.
