Begali

The Begali Estate is situated in the charming Valpolicella region, between Piemonte and the hills of Castelrotto, near Verona and Lake Garda, in the Veneto. Since the early 1900s, the Begali family has passed their winemaking tradition and a passion for working the family’s land from generation to generation. Giordano Begali began to produce wine after the Second World War, and is succeeded by his son Lorenzo, and Lorenzo’s son and daughter Giordano and Tiliana, all of whom are equally passionate about the family business. The vineyards are set amongst cherry orchards which are spread out over hills and slopes. The Begali family believes their wines are distinctive and rich because of their particular soil and atmosphere. The wines are a product of the work of the family- a component that enforces the original Giordano Begali’s love of the land and commitment to excellence with each new vintage. They respect tradition while always striving to improve quality.
