Caduceus Cellars and Merkin Vineyards are both labels from Maynard Keenan, frontman for the band Tool. The Caduceus line features wines from both Arizona grown grapes and also California grown grapes.

Think of this as a domestic version of Cote Rotie– 88% Paso Robles Syrah meets 12% Arizona Malvasia. Beautifully perfumed with notes of smoke and citrus pomegranate, ripe plum and black tea; integrated tannins, smooth and lingering finish, medium/full bodied [year 2006]
