By contracting with small, boutique wineries, Vino50 brings to market unique wines that not only have a sense of place but also showcase unknown varietals and regions of the United States such as Arizona, Idaho, Long Island, Michigan, Rhode Island and beyond.
Petit Verdot Lake County
Normally a blending grape, Petit Verdot can shine on its own; dark and brooding with notes of plum, cassis and black pepper intertwined with leather and vanilla spice; firm tannins, full bodied. This wine deserves a juicy steak. 50 cases produced. [year 2004]
Syrah Napa Valley
A Syrah that would make the French squeal with delight. This wine starts off with a beautiful floral nose with notes of blueberry and herbs. A blast of leather and smoke round out the finish. Silky texture with soft tannins and a medium body. Try with your favorite meat‐based casserole or grilled lamb. 300 cases produced. [year 2004]
Zinfandel Russian River
This fruit‐forward Zin is a classic California style‐juicy dark plum and brambleberry intertwined with leather, spice and vanilla. Soft tannins with a medium‐body. Perfect for barbecued meats. 300 cases produced. [year 2004]
