Your Host
Emanuele (Manu) Gaiarin, grew up near Venice and has lived in various regions around Italy. His company, Siema Wines, imports fine wines from all over the world into the United States. In his travels he has developed a passion for the beauty, food and wines of the various regions of Italy. Manu leads the tour toshowcase the best Piemonte has to offer in the world of wine.
The Program
We visit small, family-owned wineries of some of Italy’s most exquisite estates tucked into the hillsides of the beautiful countryside of Piemonte. Winemakers and/or estate owners conduct private tours and show and discuss their craft while you taste the wine. This is a unique tour that brings together the local cuisine, wines, and traditions for you to experience. You will sample the best of the local wines, experience unique
and wonderful dining (every meal is special), and enjoy staying in gracious hotels. This is a trip that even a non-wine drinker would love. We take advantage of all the region has to offer; such as hunting for truffles with a truffle dog, cheese tasting and cooking lessons with a local celebrated chef.
