About Azienda Agricola Elisabetta

     At the age of 14 years, the vivacious Luigi Brunetti, coming from Mandatoriccio, a village of 4,000 inhabitants (and 300 cooks) in the Province of Cosenza in Calabria, enrolled in the famous hotel school at Castel fusano, near Rome. This school offered for young and keen students the opportunity to introduce themselves into the working world.

     Thanks to his thirst for action he soon obtained excellent results. This was the beginning of a brilliant career taking the young Luigi to work to the best restaurants in Italy (Montecatini, Cernobbio, Villa d'Este), Switzerland (Lausanne), Spain, France (Côte d'Azur), England and finally Germany. First he had the intention to stay in Germany for only one season which was lasting for 25 years. The Restaurant's Terrace During this time, he was able to create a renowned restaurant at Neu Isenburg on the outskirts of Frankfurt. His constant engagement directed towards an excellent and warm welcome, a perfect service, a good quality and price relationship, cleanliness as well as the high regard for his guests, according to the German motto "The customer is king" (dt. "Der Kunde ist König") lead Luigi to great success.

     In the meantime in his private life, he realized his dream of a family, getting married with Elisabetta, who gave him three children: Leonardo, Francesca and Natalino. Not with standing his private and professional, by this time international success, he continued to dream of Italy... So, after passing many summer holidays on the coast in Tuscany, he decided to purchase the existing farm. Dinner at the Hotel RestaurantIn the beginning, Luigi had the intension to build there only the wine cellars and the farm buildings near his dwelling. But again, his love for hospitality and his will to introduce the delicious Tuscan cuisine with his own farm products, of an outstanding quality, gave origin to the idea of farm holidays. He called the farm accommodation after his wife "Elisabetta".

     Today, Luigi is one of the high quality wine producers in Tuscany, selling is products all over Italy and in other foreign countries like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, USA, Japan and China.
