About Spirit of Sushi
Born in Osaka, Yoshida, himself the son of a Japanese chef, was taught the traditional art of cooking and so followed in his father’s footsteps. At only fifteen he prepared his first recipes in the kitchen of the family restaurant; his speciality, the Teppanyaki.
Yoshida has now been living in France for ten years and has soon learned to love the French culture letting gourmets take advantage of his talents, first in the Latin Quarter of Paris and then in the Parisian outskirts where he continues to cook and give free rein to his great imagination.
Spirit of Sushi is unlike any other wine. It is unique, exceptional because it is elaborated to charm even the most demanding lovers of traditional Japanese food: Sushis, Makis, Sashimis and Yakitoris…

It is on the initiative of the “Mondiale des Vins” company’s management team that Chef Yoshida and French oenologist, Stéphane Grangeot, joined their expertise to create the ideal blending of white wines in order to bring Japanese cuisine to its ultimate refinement with the “French touch” and so celebrate the perfect marriage of two great gastronomic cultures for the pleasure of gourmets worldwide.
