Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced sales representative to join our team and represent our diverse portfolio of over 700 wines from around the world. As a Wine Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients in Washington DC, Northern Virginia, or Maryland. Our extensive wine portfolio also includes a focus on up-and-coming wine regions, women winemakers, and BIPOC producers.

Responsibilities:

You will build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, bars, hotels, retail stores, and other potential clients.

You will conduct tastings events for clients to promote our wines and educate clients about our producers' stories and sustainable practices.

You will provide customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

You will stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments by attending our weekly sales meeting via Zoom.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in wine sales with an importer, distributor, or winery supplier is required.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building client relationships.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Must be 21 years old or older and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Access to a personal vehicle for transportation within the designated territory.

Flexible schedule with the ability to work occasional weekends and attend evening events as needed.

Compensation:

This position offers a competitive commission-based salary with a guaranteed base salary to start, along with performance-based bonuses. The earning potential is uncapped, allowing you to maximize your income based on your sales performance and dedication to the role.
